Международная конференция Воздействие упругих волн на флюиды в пористых средах (EWEF-2012), Москва, 24-28 сентября 2012 International Conference Elastic Wave Effect on fluid in the porous media (EWEF-2012), Moscow, September 24-28, 2012
Ten years ago in August 20-23, 2002 International conference on Elastic Wave Effect on Fluid in Porous Media (EWEF-2002)
was held at the Russian State University of Oil and Gas. Experts from more then dozen countries discussed
the problem of the acoustical effect on oil and gas production. That conference was arranged in the frame of the program of
the 16-th International symposium on nonlinear acoustics (ISNA). Later, in 2005, this topic was considered in Penn State (US) at the next 17-th ISNA.
Since then new technologies based on acoustical or elastic wave effects on viscoelastic fluids in porous media have arisen.
Many new research groups have been involved in the problem investigation. Therefore current state-of-art
in this field of oil and gas production stimulation by elastic wave effect on productive formation should be considered
at a special scientific meeting, which is organizing by Russian State University of oil and gas jointly
with Scientific Council on Acoustics of the Russian Academy of Science.
Chairman of Scientific committee is academician Nikolay Laverov – vice president of the Russian Academy of Science.
